I can still hear your heart racing. Though I did not mean to wake you.

Old habits are hard to break, I would have woken up no matter what. But seeing as you were the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes I'll count that as a good awakening.

[He chuckles against his skin, holding him tighter.]

A pity for you then. I came here to sleep even if my visage is rather breathtaking.

Well, I'm not complaining about that. I happen to enjoy sleeping in your company and if sleep does elude me, I get to keep watching this breathtaking visage.

Delightful. This is why I rate you among the top of the pillows afforded to me. Agreeable, considerate, and without a doubt the source of a good night's sleep.

Though sometimes bent out of shape.

[He's quite for a few moments before he simply states...]

[ he's going to bring his hand to the back of his head, stroking his hair gently for a few moments ]

Who would have thought someone would describe me as agreeable and considerate.

I wonder if that is because you and Lahabrea work too much to be interested in sleep and Caeli has other things in mind besides sleep without doubt.

But it is my favorite past time. I would be rather good at it.

I'll let you know Lahabrea and I have managed to relax on the couch without working after he implanted the tracker on me.

[ but he has no rebuttal for Caeli, it's true ]

Only in the slightest of margins. It simply felt empty without you there so I thought to remedy it. Well, that and a bit of fond nostalgia. I have been thinking about our particular journey as of late.

Good to know things are going that great with him and Vergil. And if it were for me we would be sleeping together every day but, well. We are in different Units.

[ He's going to try and reach for his hand so he can hold it, bringing it to his lips to kiss it before he continues ]

You forget that I only did so after you reached out to me first. And I was at such a low point as well. I don't know where I'd be if I hadn't had you either.

You extended your friendship and taught me how to handle emotions rather than just repress them.

I'm not doing stellar with my family, but at least I have a chance now. And I've been able to help others as well.

I've learned your tricks. That, and I can finally believe it fully when you tell me how much you love me. But rest assured that even though it doesn't make me blush, hearing you say I'm extraordinary does make my heart beat a little faster.

And the good thing is that I will also be here when you wake. Not just today either but, well. Forever. That's the plan.

[He makes a small sound of surprise at the words that he tries to pass off as a exhausted sigh as he kisses the back of his neck.]

[Common Law really does suit Five. Also sometimes your bf wants to sneak snuggle with you at night but you are a top tier assassin who at least doesn't sleep with their weapons anymore. This might be easier later when teleporting is back on the table.

But these two murderers will get a good night's sleep.]

[ clearly the only solution is drugging him so get vergil to sneak in a sleeping potion into his coffee, there's no other choice ]
