[A whine escapes his lips as he stalls, being impatient. However, Five is gifted with a sweet sound when he does continue. It is half spoken, a half felt sound as he greedily tugs on the edges of his soul in a vice like grip.
He is not going to help with the kissing though as he’s trying to burrow his head in Five’s shoulder. Being difficult! But there is no doubt he appreciates each little kiss and bite and adoration.
And he doesn’t say anything but Five can feel the warmth start to seep through him at the words. Beginning to merge as they are, he will be able to feel the love returned but also a small undercurrent that he is more anxious, more worried than he usually is. He actually didn’t plan on having soul merging on the menu today, but he can hardly refuse.]

Between Elidibus' arrival and a younger version of himself reminding him of everything he can never be again, he can only imagine the doubts and fears swirling through his mind. It will come back to you. And I can say it with certainty. Their faces, how beautiful the sky looks at home. Every memory and every feeling you had before you had to say goodbye.
The moment you're back there, it will come back to you. So while it won't soothe the pain now ...

[It takes not an insignificant amount of effort not to shrink or avert his gaze. To hide behind a layer of sarcasm and nonchalance. But he doesn’t. He would not insult their bond so.
Was he expecting him to cry? Because he does. Because as usual Five knows the words he needs to hear before he does.
So he buries his face in his neck and holds him tightly hiding in the safe cocoon of his aether.]
[ He'll wrap his arms around him so he can hold him, kissing the top of his head and just making certain to be a physical comfort too. It's always been difficult for him too, to know he'd forgotten things, his siblings faces, certain smells or tastes. Everything that was important to him. And the burden of being the only one who can remember. ]

[He kisses his shoulder at the declaration. Their promise to each other. But their paths have always been similar for good or for ill. It helps them understand each other.]
