[He slips in front so he can sit in his lap, fingers still laced.]

[He brings a hand under Five's chin to tilt it down so he can kiss it properly.]

[ cute... he kisses him back right away, eager and wanting as he squeezes his hand ]

You look more charming than ever now that you remember all details on your real form.

Perhaps not every detail, but I can bother my other to find them I suppose. I imagine he'll turn bright scarlet if I ask which means without a doubt I should.

I was wondering if you wanted to explore the apocalypse again, but with how peaceful this is I would not want to ruin it.

[ hold on, now he's imagining emet with himself and this is not something he can just shake off easily. So his face is going to turn just as scarlet as he tries to recover by clearing his throat ]

No, probably not. But we could take a stroll around the house. Sit in the garden.

I think the last time you visited properly was my ideal dream.

Like the thought of that, do you? I could recreate that here for your viewing pleasure, you know, self indulgent as it is.

[He wraps his arms around him expecting to be carried.]

A stroll would be lovely. And you are right, I would like to familiarize myself with this place.

Can you blame me? It is an appealing thought.

[ And of course the moment he wraps his arms around him he grabs him on a princess carry, and starts walking down the stairs to take him to the actual house. Compared to how it was in his memories, it doesn't look nearly as oppressive - there's more light and there's a more gentle aura all around ]

You are going to spend sometime in it after all. Though we're definitely redecorating my room.

[He closes his eyes resting on him.]

Hmmm. I wonder if you simply want that many hands on you.

[But he does open his eyes when they make it into the house. He's looking carefully, memorizing the details and smiling softly. Despite the hardships brought forth from it, this is Five's home and he does appreciate it.]

I would adore a larger bed.

We'll get a big one. And new colors for the walls, of course - I want to paint them in our souls colors again.

[ leaning in to kiss his lips, brief and gentle, as he does actually take him to his room. It is still his childhood room as he last saw it in the dream, though there are all the mathematical equations he last wrote in them ]

I'm taking you to the garden too, but I figured now's your chance to plan for renovations.

And who said I wanted many hands on me? I think I'd enjoy seeing you overwhelmed and in between others with your face.

[He seems very charmed at the wall decorating idea. When he's put down he'll run his fingers over the equations on the wall softly.]

I enjoy the ideas of colors, but truly I just want to spend my time with you. I'm sure eventually I'll ask for other fancies, but my main attraction is right here.

[He tilts his face to look at him.]

Are you sure you don't want both?

[ this is unfair, he got his victory just earlier but now he's dying, and of course his face is going red again ]

. . . maybe.

[Now it is his turn to be incredibly smug as he cups his face and kisses him. Extra incorporeal hands do slide down his back in a barely there touch.

Will they make it to the garden?

But he does relent and pull back.]

It is not even the 'morrow yet, and I might be catching up.

[ he is definitely catching up!! there's a gasp of surprise as he feels those hands on him and he's flushed all over, but when he finally relents he's going to clear his throat and try to regain his composure ]

That's because you're cheating and you know it.

Yet you love me anyway.

[He stands and offers a hand to him.]

I do. But you are definitely going to kill me at this rate.

[ taking his hand ]

Do you remember in the dream, when you kissed me?

I do.

I wanted it to be real, your ideal illusion, for as long as possible. That you would feel the comfort, the love after all you have gone through.

Well.

It feels more real now. And the best part of it all is that I won't need to wake up from it.

[ bringing his hands to his lips ]

But I don't think I'll ever forget how sweet you'd been that day. Even though we weren't certain of our relationship just yet. As you can see you're not the only one being nostalgic.

I was rather dense about it. I would not have taken a step if your ideal illusion had not placed me in that role.

[He blushes, of course he does.]

I wanted you to be happy. I still do. And I have no doubts the reverse is true. We are more similar than not at times.

We are. Especially with the way we love. Something I can be proud of. I do feel like that's my best side, and the best one to share with you.

Only one of the ways to be proud. I could list them out, but I already have you tomato red.

[He kisses him softly before tugging him out of the room.]

But there is a garden I need to take notes in I believe. And then we can be incredibly sappy at one another.

[ he laughs at the comment, and then just hums, leading him outside to the garden ]

Fair enough, we're starting to get more and more sappy at every turn, at this rate we're going to become one of those couples no one can stand being around of.

Quite sure we already are, my dawn.

[And once they are outside he is going to pull him into a dance.[

[ they absolutely are, it's true. And of course he's laughing, carefree and amused as Emet pulls him into a dance and he's quick to try to take the lead, just smiling at him ]

It's your fault, I was never this sappy before meeting you.

You told his old heart that you cared. Though I suppose we can endlessly circle the blame.

[He smiles back following. It's a simple smile but utterly pure. Five gives him a sense of peace he can't describe. Giving his heart a safe place to mend.

And he makes mental notes of the flowers ensuring he adds them when he creates his own garden for him. But for now he'll fill it with flowers from his garden in Taisho and flowers they have given each other, blooming as they dance along the area.]

[ It's beautiful, and though the smile on his face - soft and fond - would be enough for Emet to know exactly how he feels he decides to try and see if he can use the dream to his advantage, trying to use aether to touch emet's, letting him feel himself exactly how loved and happy he feels in the moment ]
