I was rather dense about it. I would not have taken a step if your ideal illusion had not placed me in that role.

[He blushes, of course he does.]

I wanted you to be happy. I still do. And I have no doubts the reverse is true. We are more similar than not at times.

We are. Especially with the way we love. Something I can be proud of. I do feel like that's my best side, and the best one to share with you.

[He kisses him softly before tugging him out of the room.]

But there is a garden I need to take notes in I believe. And then we can be incredibly sappy at one another.

[ he laughs at the comment, and then just hums, leading him outside to the garden ]

Fair enough, we're starting to get more and more sappy at every turn, at this rate we're going to become one of those couples no one can stand being around of.

Quite sure we already are, my dawn.

[And once they are outside he is going to pull him into a dance.[

[ they absolutely are, it's true. And of course he's laughing, carefree and amused as Emet pulls him into a dance and he's quick to try to take the lead, just smiling at him ]

It's your fault, I was never this sappy before meeting you.

You told his old heart that you cared. Though I suppose we can endlessly circle the blame.

[He smiles back following. It's a simple smile but utterly pure. Five gives him a sense of peace he can't describe. Giving his heart a safe place to mend.

And he makes mental notes of the flowers ensuring he adds them when he creates his own garden for him. But for now he'll fill it with flowers from his garden in Taisho and flowers they have given each other, blooming as they dance along the area.]

[ It's beautiful, and though the smile on his face - soft and fond - would be enough for Emet to know exactly how he feels he decides to try and see if he can use the dream to his advantage, trying to use aether to touch emet's, letting him feel himself exactly how loved and happy he feels in the moment ]

It's beautiful.

[It gets him every time.]

[ he knows it, it's his way of cheating, and it's clear that he's totally thinking "this is my win again". But though he could say something smug, he decides to be the one to tip his chin and lean in to kiss him, this time, totally aiming to charm him just a bit further ]

[His cheeks turn scarlet but he is reciprocating without hesitation.]

Honestly.

You look especially tempting when your face turns so red.

[ he's going to kiss him again, this time, on his cheek ]

Thank you. For loving me as you do. And for everything, really.

[He holds his hands tightly, squeezing.]

Every moment of every day. Without a doubt.

[And then he'll wrap his arms around his neck and the back of his head to kiss him deeply echoing back the feelings just as Five did before.]

[ It's always incredible to be able to feel like this, to know for certain Emet's feelings about him, and being able to just be completely surrounded by them. He lets out a soft, pleased hum as he kisses him back, his arms going around his waist to keep him close ]

[He holds him relishing in the contentment, the ease that being with him brings.]

If only duty would not get in the way. I do wish this moment to last for eternity.

Well, maybe not this moment. But we're going to have many more just as special as this one. So in a way, won't that mean it'll last for eternity?

You did promise it to me after all. And I couldn't trap you not when you are just spreading your wings to grow.

As if spending an eternity with you would have me trapped. If anything it'd have me peaceful and content to finally take a break.

Provided that you keep feeding me study material anyway.

Are you sure you would not squirm in boredom even with studies.

[He kisses his lips.]

But I do desire you to go explore the world. You're getting quite good at making friends. Perhaps you simply needed some cut from a different cloth.

Maybe. But that just means I'd make you my personal project to study and entertain myself with.

I know you're always encouraging me to broaden my horizon as well, but rest assured I can keep doing that and stay at your side at the same time. No matter how I look at it, at this point my home is - well. You.

You simply can't keep murdering me in such a manner.

[ he laughs at that, reaching for him to pull him closer as he starts kissing his cheek, then his forehead, affectionate and loving ]

Can't I be honest without fear of killing you?

[That does not help with the color of his blush.]

No. Not in the least.

[And he tilts his head to kiss him proper so he stops embarrassing him.]
