[ This time there is no doom and destruction and his dreams are peaceful! In fact he's just on a field of flowers - though dream logic put it on the roof of his house, so the view below is that of a normal, busy modern city. It's unsurprisingly full of life ]

[He comes up behind him and wraps his arms around him, head resting on his shoulder.]

[ he immediately brings his hand over one of Emet's, just smiling at him and enjoying the comfort and peace of this ]

I wanted it to be real, your ideal illusion, for as long as possible. That you would feel the comfort, the love after all you have gone through.

It feels more real now. And the best part of it all is that I won't need to wake up from it.

[ bringing his hands to his lips ]

But I don't think I'll ever forget how sweet you'd been that day. Even though we weren't certain of our relationship just yet. As you can see you're not the only one being nostalgic.
