You need only write the formulas, the ink is enchanted. Though for your world we shall needs find a way for you to imbue ink or material with your power to act as conduit... one thing at a time.

[ going to sit at the table then, staring at the ink brush for a moment before taking it ]

I'm afraid that's going to require finding an external object I can bring with me. If I try to channel my powers all I'd do is swap items around.

[He takes off his mask and sets it down, conjuring another book to himself.]

I take it your world lacks ceruleam?

And no. It could if you were careful but it is more capable of mimicking magic, with the right technology. Without the right technology it's simply a vaguely unstable combustible. Alas, if your world had it we could use that.

Well, we have combustibles. Our technology might be different from yours and that of this place, but there should be a way to make it work. I mean. My mother is a robot.

It's not the combustible property we need, but the ability to mimic the affects of aether.

Still, I'll think of other common materials your world might have to test.

You could always do it as you usually do but that would only give you a few moments at best. A waste of your internal resources. We will find some method, we have the time.

The structure of the spell is solid. You and Emet-Selch would not have missed it if there were more flaws.

Perhaps. But it should be castable quickly. Haste, in your case, is essential. So, can you focus as well as make it at speed? Or would you like to practice more slowly until it is familiar to you, before trying again at that speed?

I thought I wouldn't need the practice but obviously I do. That was foolish of me. I'll take a few more moments for it, and then try again.
