Hmm. A little while ago? I do not know if anyone has really had use for it.
[He'll open the door to a garden at night.
There are three main sections of the garden. The first, the one you walk out into, is a well maintained and manicured stately flower garden. Filled with towering hedges and rose trellises, great swathes of flowers, and white stone paths with benches and fountains discretely placed here and there it is an easy place to get lost on a walk, admiring the flowers.
If you take the straight path through, though, you'll find stone stairs leading down to the second part of the garden. This part is wilder, not entirely overgrown but less manicured. The place is more open, though some of the wild growth does make for easy places to rest in the shade and admire the flora. Flowering and fruiting trees are around here, and if you go along the flagstone path you'll eventually come to a copse of blooming cherry trees by a lake filled with flowering lotuses--all the flowers in bloom in both sections of the garden, in fact, may not exactly be seasonal with each other, but that's just how it is here. It's a perfect place for a picnic though.
The final part of the garden isn't a "section" so much as the differences of night and day. Birds and butterflies frequent the place during the daytime, indeed, it all looks very normal. Frogs sing by the lake, and there's the occasional squirrel.
At night, however, it gets a little eerie. Ethereal moths with glowing wings, both tiny and giant varieties, and fireflies in different colors grace the gardens. Not to mention the way the flowers have their own unique glows. And some flowers only open at night, softly bio-luminescent, whether they should be or not.
The view of the stars from the garden is unmatched.
A phone app to turn on the distant sounds and lights of city as background to the garden, day or night, is installed on all Baritones phones by default.
He's got the distant city sounds setting on of course, since that was specifically for Five.]
[ It takes his breath away the moment he's inside. The garden itself is beautiful and full of life, and it's one of those rooms that he knows he'd find calming whenever things go south. But it's the care of adding details such as city sounds and lights that really get to him, since he can tell that must be something they thought of specifically for him. Who else would be so attached to that, after all? ]
This is truly incredible. You guys keep outdoing yourselves.
The city was Hades's touch. Ever does he consider your comforts even when I might forget.
[He slips his hand into Five's to lead him down a path lit almost entirely by mysteriously glowing flowers until they reach... candles lining the way, and surrounding a small table set with food, wine and some more glowing flowers and candles.]
[ He can't hide the soft smile on his face when Lahabrea points out it was Hades' idea. Of course he's always thinking of his comforts.
But he does hold onto Lahabrea's hand, squeezing it lightly as he takes a good look at the flowers surrounding them and then at the table already set ]
Hades and I planted some of the first flowers I gave him, and I planted a few from Caeli's homeland as well. They're growing well so far, and I'm excited to see the end result.
It's nice to actually be able to grow life. I hadn't thought about the fact I might enjoy it but it does make sense.
It does rather suit you. You should be surrounded in living things. Both greenery and those you love. I've no doubt Hades intends to see to it that you are, always, but there's no reason not to start now.
Re: Day 384
And you look handsome as always.
[He'll walk them towards one of the many doors in the hall but, a newer one.]

Oh. That is quite romantic.
Re: Day 384
That was the idea. Of I am to seduce you I wish to do so properly, at least this time.
Re: Day 384
[ he'll sit down when prompted to, smiling at Lahabrea and clearly already charmed ]
And all this good effort certainly deserves its own reward.
Re: Day 384
I have hardly begun. And you are worth every effort and more, my friend.
[He does pour them wine. Dinner is... contrary to the fancy setup, burgers.]
Re: Day 384
Coming from someone I admire and cherish so much, that really does feel nice. Thank you.
But I should at least be a gentleman and ask how your day has gone.
Re: Day 384
Re: Day 384
Lately I'm picking up gardening. Caeli gifted me a room and I've been experimenting with it.
Re: Day 384
[Of course he wants gossip but gardening is also cute.]
What will you grow?

You make me sound sweeter than I am.

Re: Day 384
[ he's trying to be rough because he's embarrassed, is it working ]
