[ he goes to open the door shortly after receiving the message, stepping aside to let him in ]

That should not prevent you from having it if you like. I imagine you are almost immune to its affect by now.

[He starts heading to Five's room mostly because he doesn't want to interrupt anything the other Taishos are up to.]

[ Following, maybe a little amused that Emet also knows the way just fine by now ]

Don't worry, I've had enough for today. Though you're right that it basically does nothing by now.

[It's a nice dorm! If he was on Bad End he probably wouldn't visit as much.]

Are you tired, or do I need to delight you with fictional tales until you find your rest?

Depends on the tales. Do you have any others that are actually worth listening to?

[ gesturing toward his bed though, and then sitting on it. The GIANT TEDDY BEAR has been moved to the floor for the occasion ]

If I told you an interesting tale your mind keep awake. The point is to be interesting enough to listen to, but boring enough to put your mind at ease.

[He gives the teddy bear a small pat on the head! And let's be honest, he probably came in lounge wear and slippers. Another reason to not run into other Taisho's and surprise them.]

Don't worry. We will put that mind of yours to work after you sleep.

Then there's no point in wasting time with bedtime tales. I have sleeping potions, and if we're working we're better off using them.

[ a pause, and then he just looks at him ]

Nice look.

You don't expect me to sleep in a suit, do you? It would crease terribly.

[He holds up a hand.]

I thought we were trying to replicate that evening. You needed no sleeping potions then. Come.

[He sits down on the bed and motions for Five to sit next to him.]

[ he's making a face so it's clear he isn't enitrely on board just yet but he still complies, moving next to him ]

Fair enough. If we use the sleeping potion then it won't really give any satisfactory result.

But I'll admit it feels awkward, and I'm impatient.

Of course you are. Perhaps we should have separated the events to make you less eager, but naught is to be done.

[Is Vanya's book visible? If so, he'll pick it up. Though regardless, he'll coax Five to either lean against him with pillows or put his head in his lap.]

[ it's right on the bedside table, because he keeps it close At All Times, so he can pick it up!

And though he managed to put his head in his lap last time he doesn't seem to be able to pull a repeat so easily, so he's going to opt for leaning against him. Despite his protest about the awkwardness of it, that he can at least manage without tensing up, now. ]

I let Vergil read it as well, by the way. He asked about it.

I'm glad he's taking an interest. I am really fond of him.

[He makes no comment to what Five is currently comfortable with and simply puts a blanket over him. He opens to the first page and begins to read aloud.]

[ He's already read the book so many times, even here, and obviously he knows every word by now. But the sound of Emet's voice reading Vanya's words is more soothing than he expected, and it does work as excellent background noise.

This time, he doesn't really fall asleep immediately - it's obvious his mind is still racing, especially at certain parts of the book. But eventually, he finally closes his eyes and fall asleep. ]

[He will note when he falls asleep and just give him a soft smile as he continues reading. The point was to see if he had nightmares so he gives it another chapter or so before he closes it. After carefully placing it back on the nightstand --- thank goodness for long arms --- he joins him in his dreams.]

[ Maybe it is just his company or maybe it was his voice, but when Emet joins in his dreams, he'll see that apparently it worked. There's no dead bodies or destruction, and there's not even a mansion.

There's just Five, looking over a modern city's landscape, at night. They're on a roof of some Generic Tall building, and looking over the city it's full of life and lights - not just from the buildings, but from the cars passing by as well. ]

[He takes a seat next to him. Shorter. White hair. Plain black robes. Pretend there is no mask.]

My, I do believe it worked. Congratulations.

[ There's a small smile at that, and he turns to look him over, taking a moment to familiarize himself with his new look ]

We'll see if it sticks.

It's good to see you with your proper looks.

Lahabrea might have made me a tad jealous with his. And I also realized I have never shared it with you. An unconscious oversight. It seems only proper that I should.

[He does get up for a brief moment to do a dramatic twirl.]

It does feel odd to dwarf over Lahabrea. We were not that different in height back in Amaurot.

I would apologize for the delay, but that was the point. To make sure you actually dreamed.

[Purple and black swirl around them as he takes them somewhere else. Though this time it is not the generic purple boss platform, but at the base of the Crystal Tower.]

I've tweaked the dream to remove that pesky bloodline requirement. This is simply the Tower as I still don't know how to recreate the Time Primal or Omega with accuracy, but that will come in time.

You've been practicing using external aether, have you not? Well, go on, give it a try and try to attune. It should at least glow if you are doing it correctly.

Well. Attuning is new, but I do remember the concept from your notes.

[ Give him a moment, though, he's going to take his chance to properly admire the tower, since he only ever saw it in Noah's memories. But after he will hold his hand out and try to attune as instructed.

He's been able to use ecternal aether, but even then it does take him a couple of tries before finally, the crystal is glowing ]

[He folds his arm and watches, quite proud. Though he tries to wipe that off his face quickly. He has enough ego after all.]

Alright. Now use it the energy from the tower to cast your own ability to teleport.

[ emet is right he has enough ego he doesn't need additional encouragement.

There's a pause at the instruction, though — he's so used to teleporting by using his own powers that he does need the extra few seconds to truly focus on the tower and the aether around them.

But he manages, disappearing shortly after and reapparing a short distance away ]

Seems solid enough. Though it's just working on what you know of the tower, of course.
