We did make enough progress for tonight. And I plan on providing you with an extra amount of homework as soon as I wake up, so. Resting properly is not a bad idea.

[ he holds him a bit tighter at that, partly as proof of his presence right there and now, and partly because every time he thinks for too long of how important they are to each other he's inevitably reminded of how likely it is that they'll have to say goodbye sooner or later — if they're lucky. If they're not? One of them will just disappear.
But for now, he's content in indulging in that physical closeness and affection, and he lets his eyes fall shut ]
