[ as soon as he reaches the hotel he’s looking around for five. his furry bits are considerably more fluffy and he’s got four more tails for a total of five. ]

[ he's just waiting for him so he's the one who spots him first, immediately coming over and tugging him into a hug - he'll mind the tails later ]

[ returns the hug, holding him a bit harder than he probably should. ] A second trip isn’t any easier than the first… [ huffs a tired laugh. ]

I can only imagine.

[ he's going to lean in to kiss his cheek, not letting him go yet ]

Are you okay?

[ shuts his eyes and sighs. ] I’m fine now. It happened pretty quickly, so I’m sure neither of us felt much of anything… can we go back to the dorm?

[ he nods, and lets him go just to grab his hand and tug him toward the elevator ]

The tails look cute.

[ going to swarm five in all his tails. ] I like them too. I’m just kind of worried this isn’t all of the glue that’s holding me together, so to speak.

Are you worried there might be something else?

Yes. I couldn’t have gotten away with just a couple of extra tails.

[ It's a reasonable worry, but— ]

No, I don’t think so… but I’ll be keeping as close an eye I can manage on things. [ because he is worried!!! ]

[ he squeezes his hand, and he's going to go for Taisho once they're in the elevator, unless Childe protest ]

As far as I know when Vergil got his corruption, it was only physical.

[ no protesting here. ] I know some of them can manifest physically, and usually do, but my heat cycles weren’t something I knew about until I was wondering what the hell is wrong with me.

They really should give us a corruption detector or something like that.

And make our lives easier, hah! A colleague of mine is on BARiTONES by the way. Six, the Balladeer, also know as Scaramouche. He’s who I was fighting.

Technically a train killed us. But, yes, another Harbinger arrived.

[ once they are in Taisho's landing he'll tug him inside, heading for the garden ]

No. Death had just been an unfortunate result of fighting on the train tracks. My intention hadn’t be to kill him and I can’t imagine his was to kill me. [ shrugs. ] He’s one of the few Harbingers I can stand, though that’s not to say he’s not a little shit.

If you wanted to fight so bad, you could have called me.

It’s not just that. It’s complicated. [ going to go over to the pond and trail his fingers across the water. ]

I'll ask Emet-Selch to keep an eye on him.

[ he's going to just sit down by the edge of the pond, letting his hand go but patting the spot next to him like he expects him to follow suit ]

But definitely stay off of train tracks.
