Domesticity for you. Active for me. While I will never be quite as overachieving as the three of you, I have not doted on anyone for my personal pleasure for quite some time. While a small fracture of it is insecurity, the lion's share is truly just seeing you smile. To ease you. I know the same is reciprocated.
But you also bring out a physical passion I was not expecting. I almost regret saying as we started this part of our relationship that you were not one of the most beautiful people to gaze upon.
[He doesn't respond to the question immediately, but takes his hand when it is offered. He kneels just like he did when he proposed. He kisses his knuckles and looks up to meet his gaze.]
I love you.
[Then he rises and picks up his coffee cup downing the rest of it quickly before drawling out with dramatics and insincerity.]
[ His face does go red at the gesture, all the more so because it feels like a second promise. He even has to glance away because he can't hold his gaze for long, clearly embarrassed ]
[Emet is simply beyond smug at the declaration but tugs on their joined hands to his motorcycle. He wraps his arms around him after Five gets on clinging close.]
Did you have a location in mind or aimless wandering?
I am looking forward to exploring your star with you. To see why you love it so in that unique manner that you do. And drag you to every play, of course.
Now, come on. I'll even behave.
[Though in contrast he'll run his hands down his inner thighs before resting them them at his waist.]
I want to think about nothing but you and the warmth that you bring, my dawn.
[ And the way he blushes makes it clear!! But he will clear his throat and then they can finally go on the drive. Just like the first time he drove him around, he'll take the scenic route, making sure he'll have plenty of chances to enjoy the scenery ]
[He does enjoy the scenery, truly he does, but he enjoys being with him more. When they stop, he's just going to pick him up while sitting behind him on the motorcycle and stand.]
Did you go to the beach between all your time working jobs at the Commission. I recall you saying there were not many beaches in the apocalypse to visit.
I've seen a few, but when I was on the job I didn't really bother with leisure activities. I suppose beaches might have been intact somewhere in the apocalypse, but I never went so far as to go see any. No real point risking getting stuck somewhere where I couldn't scavage for food.
Having you in my dreams always helps. But they haven't gotten worse, if you're worried about it. It was just a comment on why there were none to visit.
As much as I did not want you to experience it, I will admit it was ... helpful to have you there in my worst memory. The sound of your voice, the feel of your skin, the promise of protection.
I thought I might offer the same. To walk with you in your apocalypse. To experience it with you first hand.
Perhaps we ought to go to the Capital together as well. I should have warned Lahabrea of it, but I suppose it slipped my mind, and it seems that was an unfortunate misstep on my part. I am endeavoring to take your advice and be more open.
It doesn't have to be soon, but think about it. Trinkets and babbles do help, but I wonder if a memory, even if a dream, would also. Of not being alone in that place.
Re: Day 390
Open up.
Re: Day 390
We were supposed to share after all.
Re: Day 390
Never would have I imagined this. Just being here with you is enough. I hope you are rather pleased with yourself.
[Moving around him to pick up his coffee.]
Re: Day 390
It is a little surprising. And I do blame you — I was never one for such domesticity before you came along.
Re: Day 390
But you also bring out a physical passion I was not expecting. I almost regret saying as we started this part of our relationship that you were not one of the most beautiful people to gaze upon.
[He kisses his cheek.]
How wrong I was.
Re: Day 390
But maybe I should have gotten offended back then.
[ he's obviously joking, given how pleased he looks to hear Emet call him beautiful now. He gets off of him then, but offers him his hand ]
Can I keep you to myself for a little while more?
Re: Day 390

I suppose.

Re: Day 390
... I'm glad my being there was helpful. And I'll do it a thousand times more if it's needed.
As for myself.
That might not be a bad idea.

Re: Day 390
It would be a good image to think back on, if nothing else. You with me at the worst time of my life.
