[He holds too tight, like Five's going to disappear if he doesn't keep hold.]
Your voice...
[It's hard to get out when he's started sobbing at some point in the quiet, almost entirely silent and still until now. He presses his face into Five's shoulder as he realises it.]
[ seeing vergil like this is worrying, but he just nods and brings his hand to the top of his head, stroking his hair gently and not bringing attention to the fact he's crying. ]
... Hades always read things to me, when I'm upset. Would you like me to do the same?
[Let's never speak of it! He's not crying if no one acknowledges it.
But it will be more obvious if he speaks, so he just nods. He'd listen to Five read an instruction booklet or the ingredient list on shampoo right now honestly. If Five doesn't have anything handy he definitely has a book beside the bed, though reaching it might be hard when he's in the way.]
[ Reaching for it will be hard so an instruction booklet really is what he will get.
Well. Not quite.
Five does sleep with his notebook where he writes all of his equations and theories under his pillow, so he will reach for that and start reading it out. Not a compelling story but he figures it will help for now. ]
[Perfect honestly. He wouldn't be able to pay attention to a story anyway, it's just something grounding. And really he loves hearing the old men drone on about something they're passionate about. It's nice. That makes it even better.
He listens for a while, trying to focus on it, though there are quite a few uncharacteristically pathetic noises here and there. He doesn't get to screaming, but it could definitely be taken for physical pain. Still, he does slowly start to calm down.]
Because if it did I would probably be on board with Hades and Lahabrea summoning Zodiark again once we manage to go back in time and save their world, and I'm not.
Hah, no. That is a relief. ...The feeling is another thing.
[Considering he's felt like there's still something there since remembering his own mind control, that's a little hard to shake even with the reassurance.]
[There's another extended pause. On one hand, existing around people. On the other maybe acting normal will make it normal? Finally, he offers a small smile.]
Re: 386
All right. You don’t have to explain, for the record. Just tell me what you need.

Re: 386
Better ...?
Re: 386
[His voice is low, soft. He finally realises how hard his grip is and loosens that but he's still hanging on.]
I...am sorry for waking you like that.
Re: 386
But I am worried about what you must have dreamt.
Re: 386
Lahabrea brought me to their dream, I was looking for you and Hades but... I suppose I took a wrong turn.
Re: 386
Where did you end up?
Re: 386
Re: 386
[ and then it clicks ]
—And the summoning?
Re: 386
...Too late to see it, but yes.
Re: 386
Then that explains why it didn't need Lahabrea to lose control. It's part of the Amaurot Hades always dreams of. I've been there once too.
It doesn't last.
The tempering. So that's not something you have to worry about.
Re: 386
How can you be certain of that - why is it there?
Re: 386
As for why it's there, well. Remembrance.
Re: 386
Though I can't imagine putting that in on purpose. ...Lahabrea didn't even know about it.
Re: 386
I take it you're also not ready to praise Zodiark or anything now that you're awake.
Re: 386
[Considering he's felt like there's still something there since remembering his own mind control, that's a little hard to shake even with the reassurance.]
...I'm sorry you experienced that too.
Re: 386
Would you be up for that coffee now?
Re: 386
Why not. Fussing over you is an improvement.
Re: 386
Did Lahabrea see what happened, in the dream?
Re: 386
...No, I don't think so. Nor do I plan to tell him.
