I can hardly explain the feeling of pure pride and joy at seeing it, seeing it truly, for the first time in your ideal illusion. Just one more reason I was never going to leave your side there, among many others.

Taisho is starting to feel as dysfunctional as my family, but it isn't always so bad. ... Generally. I suppose it's better than the first few days. Despite my argument with Kaguya. And Vergil's. Actually my argument with her was because she had an argument with Vergil.
[ Through a sliding door in the living room of Taisho’s dorm is a large outdoor Japanese-style landscape garden, centered around a rocky, two level koi pond. Upon going through the door, one will find oneself on a long overhanging walkway attached to the dorm-side wall of the garden. The walkway itself is wooden and painted red with a slanted roof which is adorned with hanging metal lanterns. Wooden chairs are located here, and the walkway itself is bordered by sturdy railing one can lean on to view the garden and relax. A gap in the railing makes way for willow-shaded steps that lead down into the garden proper, where a stony path leads to the pond. The pond itself has a few large decorative stones for it, as well as a short waterfall that drops from its second level. The primary feature of the pond is a large sakura tree which sweeps low over it and is seemingly always in bloom, despite also always dropping its petals.
Pebble walkways (beside which is the occasional standing temple lantern) provide paths around the pond and up to its second tier, where a variety of roses grow. The rest of the garden’s flora is largely wild grasses, mosses, hedges, and small bonsai shrubs. A large rocky outcropping rings the garden, preventing anyone from wandering too far. Aside from the sakura, there are also several magnolia trees throughout the area, as well as patches of chrysanthemum scattered throughout.
There seems to be a normal weather cycle here, and the garden itself is self-maintaining. ]
[Oh. This is really nice. He carries him along the walkway and down the path into the garden, slow and careful as not to jostle him. It is probably no surprise that he finally finds his spot under the sakura tree leaning against it. As he sits, he arranges Five in his lap and drapes the blanket over both of them.]
[ he's not at all surprised that he heads under the tree immediately, and he shifts a little just to get more comfortable, resting against Emet and just cuddling up to him ]
Thought you might enjoy it. We might not have as many luxurious rooms as you do, but this one is nice enough.
[ He's going to just take a few moments to just enjoy the sight of Emet here, under the sakura tree with him, smiling. He knows things aren't necessarily fine now, but at least, he's not crying. ]
I do intend on inviting you to dance under the stars again, so. Let's consider that our next date spot.

It felt like the entire world was crumbling around me. But after spending time with you it does feel better. I really don't know how you manage, but you have a unique ability to soothe my worries.

Possibilities await. Nothing yet set on an unchangeable path of destruction. We'll make sure it doesn't end that way as is our wont.
