My legs did not suddenly stop functioning. I am capable. But go, go, let's see how well you roleplay. Though you've always been charming in your own way.

[And he'll just have to find another way to spike Five's drink with a sleeping potion. He's nothing if not patient.]

One thing, actually. You never told me what your favorite alcohol was.

[He sits up and takes one of the glasses and fills it with water.]

[He does scroll through his phone to do a bit of research on what type of gin would be higher quality before he makes him a glass and hands it over. And then he makes himself the same.

He holds up his glass in a motion for cheers.]

[This is probably a drink that is supposed to be savored, but he downs it quickly anyway apparently caring for the burn of it over the taste. He drums his fingers over the glass.]

I believe I'm becoming more restless than lethargic.

I don't think it is either.

[And he guesses he has a lap of Five now so he just puts his now empty glass down and rests his chin in his hand.]

Do you want something?

Those are quite grand. Are you sure you didn't want to think smaller.

[He can't help but smile, but he shakes his head.]

I want to save that for when I can focus on you and only you. Give you the proper adoration and attention you deserve.

But I do feel guilty leaving this room only partially done. I imagine the finished product would be soothing.

For once, he says. As if you did not sweep me off my feet so recently as last night. Nor the dancing or the fact that I'm wearing a ring.

You cannot become what you already are.

[He pets his back before making a motion for him to move.]

Hardly any large amount of guilt, though as I mentioned I am restless. Something mindless as painting would probably help. Just don't expect perfect clean ad straight lines near the corners and edges.

Though I will agree you need more rest than I. I will only ever admit this once.

Oh, dear, am I not showing my affection enough? Do I need to embarrass you more to drive the point home. I can, and I will if you like. In public of course.

[Said flippantly as he does get up, stretching and popping his back.]

And I would not want to risk you. Not for a sore spot that would exist even without your prodding. But I do want to enjoy your color when I am here in the waking world. So let us finish what we have started.

[He does pause though for a moment to touch his arm gently.]

You already mean more to me than you can imagine. Someday I will be able to show you.

Speaking of. I did meet your brother, you know. Though I thought I would leave the telling to you. The pace. How much you wish to explain in your own time. I could have introduced myself as your betrothed, but do applaud my restraint.

But I will support him in whatever way I can.

Now, if you want to read or study instead of painting I do not mind. I asked for a mindless task and this will suite just fine. What would ease your thoughts?

I respect you far too much not to. As touchy as we've become in recent days, what binds us is our consideration for one another. Our desire to see them grow and be happy.

[He just gives the glass a raised eyebrow.]

The lines don't have to be perfect.

Then keep drinking and ask for a refill whenever the mood strikes you.

[Then he is leaving all the edges to Five except for the ones that connect with the ceiling.]

[Good company can truly make almost everything better.

And he'll tease him about missing a few spots --- he absolutely didn't --- and even have at least two more drinks of his own. The ceiling line is not the straightest as he puts the brush down for the final time.]

I suppose I can fix it later. It isn't that bad. I don't think you can even look that high up.
